Barons Offering $1 Beer for Home Playoff Game on May 3

Oklahoma City "" The Oklahoma City Barons are hosting $1 beer night on May 3 when they host Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal series, the Barons front office announced today.

Barons fans 21-and-older can enjoy Bud and Bud Light for $1 through the end of the second intermission. In addition to the $1 beer, the first 2,000 fans through the doors on May 3 will receive a navy blue Barons playoff t- shirt.

Oklahoma City's opponent for the Western Conference semifinals will be the lowest remaining seed in the Western Conference playoff bracket. Currently, the #6 seed San Antonio Rampage lead their series with #3 seed Chicago Wolves 2-2, while the #4 seed Abbotsford Heat swept their series with the #5 seed Milwaukee Admirals.

Should San Antonio win Game 5 on April 27, the Barons will play San Antonio. Should Chicago win Game 5, the Barons will host the Abbotsford Heat. The complete schedule for the Western Conference semifinal series will be released following completion of play on April 27.

As Western Conference regular season champions, the Barons will have home ice advantage in the Western Conference semifinals and the Western Conference Finals.

Tickets for Game 1 of the Barons next series start at $11 are on sale immediately at 232-GOAL (4625) as well as all Ticketmaster outlets and online at ticketmaster.com. All Barons playoff games can be heard on the Barons flagship station, 96.1 KXY.
