
Barons lose to Phantoms, settle for weekend split

The Cleveland Barons were defeated tonight by the Youngstown Phantoms 5-1 at the IceLand USA Arena in Strongsville , OH.
The Phantoms were led tonight by Anthony Ciralo who had a goal and two assists. Billy Glynn, Kyle Laughlin and Dale Michonski also scored for Youngstown. The Barons lone goal was scored on the powerplay by Jacob Cepis (Parma,OH) with Carter Camper (Rocky River, OH) and J.C.Velasquez (Clarkston, MI).
Youngstown goalie Tommy O'Brien picked up the victory with 22 saves, while Barons goalie Blake MacNicol ( MIlan, OH)(6-5-1) had the lost with a 31 saves performance.
Cleveland falls to 8-12-2 for 18 pts tied for fourth place in the north division. Youngstown improves to 12-5-0 tied for first place.
