BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Barons will be back home for their next to last homestand of the season they continue their playoff push with five games from August 14-18 against the Tennessee Smokies, Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. The series features Wet Nose Wednesday, Thirsty Thursday, College Night, two firework shows, and the annual Diamond Dig.
Tuesday, August 14 - Barons vs. Tennessee Smokies
- Game Time: First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Regions Field gates will open at 6 p.m.
- T-shirt Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans through the Regions Field gates will receive a limited edition Yellowhammer t-shirt, presented by Paycor.
- 50-Cent Hot Dog Night: Fans can enjoy the classic ballpark fare for only 50 cents, courtesy of Flowers Bakery and Kayem Franks.
- Fireworks: A special firework show will light up the Birmingham sky following the game, sponsored by Comfort Care.
- Broadcast: The game will be broadcasted live online, and on Barons radio affiliate WERC 960 AM.
Wednesday, August 15 - Barons vs. Tennessee Smokies
- Game Time: First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Regions Field gates will open at 6 p.m.
- Wet Nose Wednesday: Bring your dogs out to the park for a night of baseball, sponsored by iHeart Media Magic 96.5. For $15, you can bring your dog to the game and receive a special Doggie Bag package that includes a General Admission ticket, Barons dog bandana, and a hot dog.
- AAA Wednesday: Present your AAA card at the ticket office and receive $2 off a regular priced ticket, courtesy of AAA.

- Alabama College Night: Tonight we celebrate all of the great Colleges and Universities from around the State with mascot appearances from Alabama, Auburn, and UAB. For $15, you can purchase a baseline box seat and receive one limited edition Barons hat as part of this Alabama College Night package.
- Auburn War Eagle appearance: Don't miss an appearance by the Eagle from Auburn to celebrate the return of college football.
- Friday Night Fireworks: Fireworks will light up the Birmingham sky after the game, presented by Coca- Cola, Birmingham Airport Authority, and Alabama Power.
