
Barons and Birmingham Kids Directory launch Junior Barons Kids Club

HOOVER, Ala. - The Birmingham Barons and the Birmingham Kids Directory have joined forces for the 2009 season to launch the Junior Barons Kids Club.
The club will provide fans 14-years of age and younger an opportunity to be more involved with their support of the Birmingham Barons. Each member will receive a Junior Barons Kids Club t-shirt, a membership card that offers a 10% discount on all items in the Barons Clubhouse Shop, one free pass into the fun park, one free ice cream and free general admission to any five Barons home games. In addition, members will be given priority position in line for the base chase, youth clinics and other youth events held at Regions Park throughout the year.
Fans wishing to become charter members of the Junior Barons Kids Club can do so on Saturday, February 28 during the Birmingham Kids Directory Kidsfest at the McWane Science Center. Membership is $20. The Barons will host four youth clinics in 2009 that will provide kids ages 12 and under, an opportunity to learn baseball fundamentals from the Barons players and coaches. Each pre-registered participant will receive a ticket to the clinic as well as a general admission ticket to the game that day.
