
Barczuk Called up to Bloomington

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced Monday that forward Daniel Barczuk has been loaned to the Bloomington Blaze of the Central Hockey League.
"We're all very excited for 'Chucky,'" said Landmesser. "This is something he has earned and we wish him all the best in Bloomington."
Barczuk, 24, appeared in 11 games with the RiverKings, tallying eight points (4G, 4A). The 6'1" 193 lbs. forward from Livonia, Mich. joins a Blaze team currently in third place in the CHL.
The RiverKings return home on Friday night to take on the Mississippi Surge at 7:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans through the doors will receive a free mustache to commemorate the end of "Movember."
