The Canadian Football League announced Tuesday that Hamilton Tiger-Cats wide receiver/kick returner Brandon Banks has been named one of the CFL Top Performers for Week 19.

Banks, 29, registered 13 receptions for 193 yards and two receiving touchdowns in Hamilton's 41-36 road loss to the Ottawa Redblacks on October 27. Since being named a starting wide receiver on September 4, the Kansas State University product has recorded 52 receptions for 883 yards and seven touchdowns in nine starts.

In his fifth CFL season, the 5-7, 155-pound native of Garner, North Carolina, has played in all 17 of Hamilton's games, posting 60 receptions for 935 yards and eight touchdowns, and two carries for five yards and one touchdown.
