Bandits Sign Milligan to One-Year Deal
BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed forward Cam Milligan to a one-year deal.
Milligan (6'2", 180 lbs., 3/13/1995) recorded three points (1+2) in three regular-season games with the Rochester Knighthawks during the 2018-19 season. Milligan was selected by New England in the sixth round (54th overall) of the 2017 NLL Entry Draft. Prior to his NLL career, the Peterborough, Ontario native played one season for the Whitby Steelhawks of the Arena Lacrosse League after being selected with the first overall pick, finishing second in the league in points (79) and assists (49), and fifth in goals (30).
Before turning pro, Milligan played four years of collegiate lacrosse at both Towson University (2014) and the University of Vermont (2015 to 2017), amassing 170 points (84+86) in 50 games played. He earned America East All-Conference Second Team honors twice (2015, 2016) and was named the team's co-MVP with Bandits teammate Ian MacKay in 2015. He left Vermont's program ranked in the top 10 in career points (8th, 170) and assists (3rd, 86), and his 70 points (32+38) in 2015 are tied with MacKay for the fourth-most in UVM history.
