Quad Cities River Bandits News Release

One month ago, the Quad Cities River Bandits made headlines by introducing an Economic Stimulus Package that made the most value-oriented entertainment in the Quad Cities even more affordable for fans. Now, the River Bandits are reaching out to provide local businesses with the same type of affordability.

On Monday, the River Bandits rolled out a new 10-game suite package that offers businesses all the perks of a luxury suite without the multi-year commitment of a half- or even a quarter-season package. For just $3,900 - a savings of more than $3,000 - businesses can hand-pick 10 games to entertain clients, reward hard-working employees and enjoy a spectacular evening of entertainment on the banks of the Mississippi River. To accommodate the demand of single-game suite rentals and our season-long suite programs, there are a limited number of 10-game suite plans available.

"We understand that a lot of businesses are taking a close look at their budgets right now," said River Bandits owner Dave Heller. "The reality is that businesses have to be sure their money is going as far as possible, and our goal is to help them get the most out of every dollar. At $3,900, our 10-game suite package is one of the best bargains in sports. The significant upgrade of our food and beverage operation over the off-season, including the hiring of our own full-time chef, will make suite seating at Modern Woodmen Park even more elegant."

Luxury suites at Modern Woodmen Park are a popular and effective outlet for corporate hospitality as well as a fun evening at the ballpark. Suite rentals come with 16 tickets and feature indoor/outdoor seating, heating and air conditioning, televisions and private wait staff. Guests also have the opportunity to order food and beverage offerings from the exclusive Suite Menu, featuring delicious meals cooked up by new Executive Chef Jeff Ryser.

"We've got some great new meals we will be offering up on the suite level this year, and we're going to throw in a few surprises as well." said Ryser. "I can promise you, the dessert cart alone will be worth the price of admission."

"The suite level at Modern Woodmen Park has become an effective place for businesses to be involved, but we want to make sure that companies of all sizes have the ability to take advantage of the great amenities," said River Bandits Vice President and General Manager Kirk Goodman. "Our doors are open to small businesses the same way they are open to more recognizable larger brands, so we are going to do everything we can to reach out to them."

UP NEXT: The River Bandits open the 2009 regular season on the road against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Thursday. The Modern Woodmen Park home-opener against the Beloit Snappers will take place on Monday, April 13, at 3:00 p.m. and will feature a magnet schedule giveaway for the first 2,000 fans. That marks the start of a seven-game homestand in which the River Bandits will be at home from April 13-18. On Tuesday, April 21, the park will play host to NCAA Division I baseball for the first time with a match-up between the University of Iowa and Western Illinois.

ABOUT THE BANDITS: Under new ownership and management in 2008, the Quad Cities River Bandits topped 207,000 fans for only the sixth time in team history and the first time in 12 years. Having recently completed one of the most successful seasons in the history of the franchise - and with a renewed dedication to fans, sponsors and the Quad Cities community - the return of the River Bandits has brought a resurgence of support for the team. BanditWear, season tickets and mini-plans, and individual game tickets are on sale for the 2009 season by calling (563) 3-BANDIT or heading to www.RiverBandits.com. But hurry - good seats are going fast!
