
Bandits fall to Rock 13-9

Buffalo Bandits News Release
The Buffalo Bandits fell to the Toronto Rock Saturday night by a score of 13-9. The loss now moves Buffalo to 7-5 on the season.
Cory Bomberry and John Tavares led the Bandits in scoring with four points each. Bomberry tallied two goals and two assists while Tavares posted one goal and three assists. Delby Powless lit the lamp twice for the Bandits and finished with two points. Brett Bucktooth made his season debut for Buffalo and scored just 17 seconds into the game. He finished the night with two points (1+1). Ian Llord, Pat McCready and Roger Vyse each scored a goal for Buffalo. Mark Steenhuis had two assists on the night.
Phil Sanderson led Buffalo with 4 penalty minutes in the game.
Ken Montour made 41 saves on the night. The netminder allowed 12 goals off 53 shots on goal. Mike Thompson came into the game with 8:40 remaining in the game and allowed one goal off of one shot on goal.
The Bandits will next square off with the Colorado Mammoth at HSBC Arena on Sat., April 5. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $19 to $29.
