The Buffalo Bandits defeated the Chicago Shamrox Saturday night by a score of 13-9. The win now moves Buffalo to 9-6 on the season.

John Tavares led the Bandits in scoring with six points (1+5). Mark Steenhuis lit the lamp four times for the Bandits and also posted an assist. Mike Accursi started the Buffalo scoring frenzy with the first Bandits goal of the game at 14:25 in the first period. He finished the night with four goals. Cory Bomberry posted five points (1+4). Kevin Dostie also tallied five points (2+3) on the night. Roger Vyse scored a goal for the Bandits and posted three assists. Delby Powless, Billy Dee Smith, Pat McCready and Ken Montour each finished with one assist.

Brandon Swamp led Buffalo with 5 penalty minutes in the game.

The Bandits went four for four on the power play. Mike Accursi, John Tavares, Kevin Dostie and Mark Steenhuis each scored a power play goal for Buffalo.

Ken Montour made 40 saves on the night. The net minder allowed 9 goals off 49 shots on goal.

Buffalo's next home game will be Saturday, April 26 against the Portland LumberJax in their final regular season game. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $19 to $29.
