
Bandits Acquire Mike Accursi

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Dave Zygaj announced today the Bandits have acquired forward Mike Accursi from the Edmonton Rush in exchange for Dan Teat, Buffalo's first round draft pick in the 2009 Entry Draft and Buffalo's second-round selection in the 2008 Entry Draft.
Accursi has appeared in nine games for the Rush this season and tallied 33 points (11+22). Accursi had been a member of the Bandits from 2000 thru the 2004 season. While with Buffalo he appeared in 73 games and scored 257 points (146+111). Accursi also appeared in six playoff games with the Bandits, tallying 26 points (15+11). He was a member of the Rochester Knighthawks from 2005 to 2007. As a Knighthawk, Accursi dressed for 48 games and scored 211 points (76+135), and appearing in 7 playoff games finishing with 26 points (18+8).
The Bandits will next square off with the Colorado Mammoth at HSBC Arena on Sat., April 5. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $19 to $29.
