SAVANNAH, GA--The Savannah Bananas hung twelve runs on the Fayetteville
SwampDogs in the fourth inning while handing the Dogs a 15-0 win on Friday at Historic
Grayson Stadium.
Savannah starter Ryan Flores struck out six batters in five innings of work to earn the
win. However, the Bananas offense burst open with twelve runs in the fourth inning while
tallying nine hits and taking four walks in the inning.
The SwampDogs offense was paced by Frankie Jezioro who went 2-3 off the bench.
Flores picks up his first win of the year to improve to 1-0 while Cody Smith falls to 1-3
with the loss. Jesse Bogacz earned the save with four scoreless innings.
The SwampDogs wrap up the first half Saturday night in Lexington County. The Dogs
return to Fayetteville Sunday night for the Honoring America Fireworks Tribute against the
Wilson Tobs at 7:05pm to begin the second half.
