Ballpark Digest Taps LumberKings for Honorable Mention

Clinton, IA - The Clinton LumberKings are excited to announce their selection as an honorable mention by Ballpark Digest for their 2018 "Best Ballpark Improvement (Under $1 million) Award." Prior to the 2018 season, the LumberKings added to the fan experience at one of the Midwest League's oldest parks with the addition of a 60-foot long ribbon board, three high definition front entrance monitors, and a new picnic shelter down the third base line.

The renovations to the ballpark aimed at adding to the fan experience in Clinton that goes back to 1937. "We appreciate the recognition from Ballpark Digest for our renovations this past season," said LumberKings General Manager Ted Tornow. "The upgrades to the facility adds to our fan's experience while maintaining the charm of our 82-year old ballpark."

Ballpark Digest's honorable mention is the LumberKings first award from the publication in the club's history. The improvements to the LumberKings current home were the first significant changes made to the ballpark since the multi-million dollar renovation prior to the 2006 season.
