
Ballers Sign Two-Way Tyler Davis

The Oakland Ballers sign two-way player Tyler Davis to a contract for the 2024 season.
Davis is a right-handed pitcher and utility player that spent his college career at Wichita State (2018), Panola College (2019), and Sam Houston State (2020-2023). Davis holds a career 4.35 ERA in 223 collegiate innings with a 16-11 record with 200 K to 58 BB.
In his lone full season as a hitter in 2023, he burst onto the national scene with the 5th highest batting average in Division I baseball hitting .423 in 248 at-bats. He finished the year with 32 extra base hits, 59 RBI and walked more times than he struck out (32 BB to 31 K.)
The Ballers now have 32 players under contract going into the club's Spring Training. The Pioneer League will hold one more league tryout camp which starts tomorrow in Scottsdale, AZ. All 12 PBL teams will be in attendance and the Ballers hold the first overall pick in the camp's draft.
