
Ballers schedule first tryout camp

Benton Harbor, MI. The new ABA Twin City Ballers professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in November have scheduled their first tryout camp for Saturday, July 29th from 10am-5pm at the Bobo Brazil Community Center, 472 Cass Street, Benton Harbor, Michigan. According to GM Corey Sterling, "The basketball talent in the Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin area is tremendous - and we're hoping to find 12 great players to compete in the upcoming season. This is a tough league; teams play a team concept type of basketball and to be competitive, we need skilled players with the "team attitude."
Registration is $100 in advance, $125 at the door. Space will be limited. All fees must be paid by money order. Mail to Twin City Ballers, P.O. Box 23, Benton Harbor, MI 49023. Check in and registration begins at 9am; the tryouts will be open only to players, coaches and the media.
