BAKERSFIELD, October 16, 2015 - The Bakersfield Jam announced today a special jersey sponsorship agreement with MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The first sponsorship of its kind for the Jam, the MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa logo will be featured on the front of the team's jerseys for three home games played at the Dignity Health Event Center this 2015-16 season.

The 2015-16 season marks the Jam's 10th year in the NBA Development League. As part of the sponsorship between MontBleu and the Jam, Bakersfield's 10-year franchise anniversary celebration presented by Valley Republic Bank will be held at the MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa on April 1-3, 2016. This exclusive weekend for Jam Partners and Sponsors will include gambling, special events at the Casino, a 10th Anniversary celebration with distinct guests, and tickets/transportation to Reno for the Jam's final regular season game at the Reno Events Center against the Bighorns on April 2.

"We are honored that Tim and his resort will be hosting our largest Jam partner experience next April in addition to becoming the first Jersey sponsor in Jam history."
MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa has recently undergone a $25M renovation. Amenities include a 45,000 square foot casino, sports book, 437 room hotel, spa, night club and lounges. A 7-time AAA Four Diamond Award Winner (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015), MontBleu's Ciera Steak + Chophouse was voted Best Restaurant for Dinner and Best Steakhouse, and is Tahoe's only Four Diamond Restaurant. TahoesBest.com, two of Lake Tahoe's oldest online publications, have both recognized MontBleu as an Environmentally Conscious Tahoe Business. The publications cited MontBleu's "Blue Goes Green" efforts as setting an important precedence in the Tahoe business community and reflect the responsible policies mandated by management in an effort to do its part in keeping Lake Tahoe blue (and green).
