San Bernardino, CA - With the help of the community, the 66ers Foundation in partnership with Baker's Drive-Thru, were able to raise $35,960.19 throughout the month of March with their "Round Up" campaign to support children in the Inland Empire Community play baseball and softball.

The 66ers Foundation is a non-profit organization powered by the Inland Empire 66ers of San Bernardino, dedicated to providing opportunities for youth in the community to play organized baseball or softball, who wouldn't otherwise have the means to. The Foundation collaborated with Baker's Drive-Thru and all 39 of their locations in the month of March to help fund the mission of the 66ers Foundation. Customers of the fast food chain were asked to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar with the difference benefitting the cause.

"Since its establishment in 1952, Baker's has had a tradition of giving back to the communities within the Inland Empire," expressed Maria Migliore, Baker's Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, "this time we are proud to see how the community joined us in support of the 66ers Foundation to raise $35,960.19 to help children in the I.E. Baker's thanks our amazing customers for their generosity and graciousness."

The 66ers Foundation covers all necessary costs for each child to play baseball or softball in an organized league. These costs include registration fees and the necessary equipment to play. This cost can equal up to $300 per child, and the funds raised through the "Round Up" campaign will fully fund the program and its associated costs.

"This number exceeded all expectations and we are so grateful for this partnership with Baker's and their generosity to help us help kids in our community," stated 66ers General Manager, Joe Hudson, "but not only did Baker's believe in our cause, this campaign proved that the I.E. community did as well, and for that we are so thankful!"
