Badger Band Joins The Blizzard For Friday's Semi-Final Game

The Green Bay Blizzard are excited to announce that the University of Wisconsin Badger Marching Band will be joining them for their playoff game this Friday, August 10th. The Blizzard take on division-rival Louisville Fire in the American Conference semi-final round of the 2007 playoffs. The Badger Band, presented by Pomp's Tire, will thrill Blizzard fans by performing at halftime and their famous "Fifth Quarter."
Blizzard General Manager Jim Kraft said, "We are excited to have the Badger Band back this season. They are a great addition to an already exciting night. We have never had the Badger Band on a âBuck Night' before. This will also be the first time the Badger Band have joined us for a playoff game. This is a great opportunity for our fans to see great playoff football, have fun with the Badger Band, and enjoy affordable family fun with dollar hotdogs, sodas, and beers."
The Badger Band is part of all of the fun offered at the Blizzard playoff game Friday night at the Resch Center. Fans in attendance will also be able to enjoy the "Buck Night" which means soda, beer, and hotdogs for only $1 all night long.
The Blizzard are 2-0 in games that feature the Badger Band, 8-0 at home this season, 1-0 at home in the playoffs, and have won 10 consecutive home games dating back to July 28, 2006.
