Louisville Fire News Release
LOUISVILLE, KY - The Louisville Fire (10-7) will ignite on Friday, August 10 against the Green Bay Blizzard (10-7) at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin at 8:30pm Eastern. This heated rivalry is one of the best in the af2 and is sure not to disappoint.
The Fire split the regular season series with Green Bay winning at home only to hit the road for a heartbreaking loss at Green Bay. Even though the Fire lost at Green Bay, the lop-sided score is not a good indication of how things will measure up in this latest meeting.
During the first playoff game this season Blizzard QB Zeke Dixon had a rating of 100.69 and tossed up three touchdowns for 223 yards. In comparison Fire QB Joel Steele had a rating of 101.99 and five touchdowns for 253 yards. The ratings and yardage are similar however three versus five touchdowns will be the game changer.
