Milwaukee Wave News Release

The Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave are on the road this weekend to face the newest teams in the Major Arena Soccer League, the Mississauga MetroStars and Utica City FC.

First, Saturday afternoon, the Mississauga MetroStars host the Wave at Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Ontario, Canada.

Kick off is scheduled for 2:05pm CST (Milwaukee time).

You can watch that game LIVE! and for FREE! via MASLtv at MASLSoccer.com.

Then on Sunday afternoon, the Wave returns the states to take on Utica City FC at The Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium in Utica, New York.

Kick off is scheduled for 1:05pm CST (Milwaukee time).

You can watch that game LIVE! and for FREE! via MASLtv at MASLSoccer.com.

"We know we have a big target on our back," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "Not just in Utica on Sunday, who is really waiting to get a hold of us, but also with Mississauga on Saturday. Everyone wants to take down the undefeated team but we've had a great week at practice, worked hard and we're ready to go."

The MetroStars are coming off a hard fought overtime loss to the defending MASL Champion Blast Wednesday evening.

Final score, in overtime. Mississauga 5, Baltimore 6. (recap)

"Mississauga has a very talented group of players," said Oliviero. "The only thing they lack is arena experience but they are getting better and better with every game, we know Saturday is going to be a tough task."

Meanwhile, the trash talking, beer banning Utica City FC remains undefeated at the ADK Bank Center after handing the defending champs a loss last Sunday.

Final score, Utica City FC 6, Baltimore Blast 3. (recap)

"Look at Utica and the experience they have from the Syracuse franchise from previous years," said Oliviero. "You've got that talent and then you couple in the support they've been getting from the City of Utica, that team is flying high right now. We know it's going to be an extremely tough weekend but we have a positive attitude and we are up for the challenge."

After these back to back road games the Wave travels back to Milwaukee on Monday to prepare for back to back home games next Friday and Saturday at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena against the rival Kansas City Comets and division foes, the St. Louis Ambush.
