B-Sens Serve up Spaghetti for Toys for Tots

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they will participate in the ninth annual Broome County Toys for Tots spaghetti dinner on Wednessday, Nov. 28, hosted by Q 106.7's Thunder Reynolds who will broadcasting live from the event.

The dinner will take place at Little Venice Restaurant located at 111 Chenango Street in Binghamton from 5 to 8 p.m.

Fans that bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Broome County Toys for Tots program will be able to purchase a spaghetti and meatball dinner with salad and soda for just $9.99. The dinner will be served by B-Sens players.

Also fans will be able to bid on the opportunity to eat their spaghetti dinner with their favorite B-Sens player or head coach Luke Richardson. To place the Binghamton Hockey Booster Club's 50/50 table on the main concourse of the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena during the B-Sens home games on Thursday, Nov. 22 versus the Toronto Marlies and Saturday, Nov. 24 vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. All bids must begin at $25 and proceeds from the auction will benefit the Broome County Toys for Tots program. All auction winners will be notified on Monday, Nov. 26.

The mission of the Toys for Tots program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year to distribute as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. Broome County Toys for Tots has been operated by the Binghamton police department with the assistance of the Endicott, Johnson City and Vestal police departments for over 42 years. Nearly 3,000 Broome County children receive toys each Christmas through the community-based organization.
