B-Sens Release Forward Yannick Tifu

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have released left wing Yannick Tifu from his professional try-out contract.

Tifu, 25, has appeared in five games with the B-Sens recording three points (one goal, two assists) and two penalty minutes. Tifu had a two-point game Sunday, March 28 at Hershey (a 3-2 B-Sens loss) where he recorded two assists.

The Brossard, Quebec has spent the majority of the 2009-10 season with the ECHL's Elmira Jackals where he has recorded 55 points (15 goals, 40 assists) and 69 penalty minutes in 47 games.

The B-Sens return to the ice Friday, April 2 at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena as they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
