LAST GAME: Mark Cohoon allowed just one run over seven innings to lead the B-Mets past the New Hampshire Fisher Cats by a 6-1 score last night. The B-Mets pounded out ten hits and put together a pair of three-run innings to snap a three-game losing streak. Juan Lagares went 3-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs. Cohoon matched a season-high with seven innings to collect his first win in the month of May. Spot starter Fernando Hernandez allowed three runs (two earned) over 3.1 innings in his second loss.

STARTING PITCHING MATCHUP: RHP Collin McHugh (4-3, 2.15) makes his tenth start of the season and second against the Fisher Cats. The right-hander comes off a loss against the New Britain Rock Cats in his previous start on May 22. The righty allowed two runs on eight hits over six innings in his first loss in the month of May. Over his last three starts McHugh has allowed three earned runs over 20.0 innings (1.35 ERA), but has not earned a single win. McHugh collected his second win of the season against New Hampshire on April 17. The righty allowed one run on four hits struck out six.

RHP Deck McGuire (2-5, 6.80) makes his tenth start of the season and fourth against the B-Mets. McGuire took a no-decision in his previous start against the Portland Sea Dogs on May 23 in the first game of a doubleheader. The righty allowed four runs on six hits and struck out one over 5.0 innings in a game the Fisher Cats would lose 7-6. McGuire has gone 1-2 with a 10.80 ERA in three games versus the B-Mets. The B-Mets are hitting .349 against him. The Virginia native suffered his shortest career outing in his last game against the B-Mets, recording just one out on May 11. He was tagged for five runs on five hits.

ANOTHER STREAK SNAPPED: B-Mets outfielder Matt den Dekker went 0-for-4 last night and failed to reach base. It snapped his streak of 31 straight games of reaching base safely, dating back to April 22. It was the second-longest streak for any Eastern Leaguer in 2012. Den Dekker hit .339 during the stretch that included a 17-game hitting streak. At the time, it was the longest active streak in the league.

TWIN KILLING KING: Juan Centeno bounced into his league-leading twelfth double play of the season in the sixth inning. The twin killing plated a run, giving the B-Mets a 5-1 lead. The B-Mets have hit into 46 double plays as a team.

WELCOME BACK: B-Mets reliever Robert Carson returned to the club after making two appearances with the New York Mets. Carson logged three innings and allowed two runs, making his Major League debut on May 18 against the Toronto Blue Jays. The southpaw matched a season-high with two scoreless innings last night.

ANOTHER TILTED CONTEST: Last night's win was the tenth time this season a game between the Fisher Cats and B-Mets was decided by four runs or more. The B-Mets lead the league with 16 wins by four runs or more. Only seven of their victories have been decided by fewer than four runs.

AGAINST THE FISHER CATS: The B-Mets have gone 6-7 versus New Hampshire this season, hitting .276 as a team and compiling a staff ERA of 5.61. Matt den Dekker has led the charge with a .365 batting average in 13 games.

EASTERN DIVISION STRETCH: The B-Mets are currently in a stretch of seven consecutive series against Eastern Division squads. They have gone 9-10 to start the 23-game streak.

MEMORIAL DAY: The B-Mets hosted the Altoona Curve last year on Memorial Day and were handed an 8-0 defeat. Brad Holt took the loss as a starter.

NEXT GAME PREVIEW: The B-Mets travel to Reading Pennsylvania to start a three-game series against the R-Phils tomorrow night at 7:05 PM. It's the first time they take on Reading this season.
