
Azura Stevens Named Player of the Week

Arlington, TX - Rookie Azurá Stevens has been named Dallas Wings player of the week for her outstanding performance Oct. 23-31 with the seventh ranked WCBA Hebei Win Power of China.
This is the second straight week she has been named player of the week.
The 6-5 center appeared in two games this week, where she combined for a total of 46 points, 24 rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Her best performance occurred this past Saturday (Oct. 27) where she scored 41 points and 14 rebounds, which also gave her player of the week for the WCBA.
In the five games played so far this season, Stevens has placed herself amongst the best in the WCBA. Currently, she leads the Win Power in points (19.6 ppg), rebounds (11.2 rpg), and blocks (2.6 bpg), and leads the league in blocks. She is also ranked in the top 10 of the WCBA in points and rebounds.
This coming week Stevens and team Hebei will appear in three games, starting on Nov. 2, when they face the Henan Phoenix.
