
Azura Stevens Named Overseas Player of the Week

Arlington, TX - Rookie Azurá Stevens has been named Dallas Wings player of the week for her outstanding performance Oct. 15-22 with team Hebei Win Power of China.
The 6-5 center began her overseas campaign strong. In her first two games played, she averaged 18 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks to help lead the team to a 2-0 record. Her best performance recently occurred on Oct. 22 where she scored 26 points, 10 rebounds with three steals and three blocks.
Currently, the UCONN alumna leads the WCBA third ranked Win Power in three categories (scoring, rebounds and blocks). She is also ranked in the WCBA in points (9th) and top five in steals (4th).
Stevens and team Hebei continue their 2018-19 campaign tonight when they take on Beijing, followed by key matchups against Tianjin (Oct. 27) and Shandong (Oct. 30).
