
Axel Toupane Signs Two-Way Contract with Milwaukee Bucks

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Milwaukee Bucks have signed forward Axel Toupane to a two-way contract for the remainder of the 2020-21 NBA season. Toupane played at the 2020-21 NBA G League single site with the Santa Cruz Warriors, NBA G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors.
The French native averaged 17.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals in nine games with Santa Cruz. Toupane posted three double-doubles and shot 54.4% from the field. Toupane appeared in two games for the Golden State Warriors in the 2020-21 preseason.
This signing marks the second time Toupane will play for the Bucks, having signed a 10-day contract with Milwaukee in 2016-17 and played in two games. Toupane will wear number 66 for the Bucks.
