LOVES PARK, IL - Calling all college students! Are you interested in a fun, fast-paced, and exciting career in sports? The Rockford Aviators, presented by Pearson, are seeking interns for the 2015 season and now is the time to start applying.
Past Aviators interns have received jobs with top-level professional teams such as the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball, the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association, and more. Interns will gain valuable, hands-on experience in a variety of areas in professional baseball including, but not limited to, community relations, ticket sales, group sales, marketing, promotions, stadium operations, and concessions.
Interns should be able to work all Rockford Aviators home games and be flexible with their working hours. They will be asked to help organize gameday activities, be active in the community, interact with fans, and assist with other duties as necessary.
This season, interns will receive a monthly stipend and will have opportunities for additional compensation by working outside events. Interns will also be able to receive class credit for their participation in the Aviators internship program.
