Austin Toros Make Roster Changes

Austin, TX March 2, 2011 - The Austin Toros today announced that they acquired and then subsequently waived Tre Kelley due to personal reasons. As a result, the Toros have acquired 6-0, 180-pound guard Stephen McDowell from the available player pool.
McDowell recently played with the New Mexico Thunderbirds averaging eight points, one rebound and two assists this season. McDowell will make his Toros debut tonight as the Austin Toros take on the Texas Legends at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center.
McDowell played with the Geneva Devils in Switzerland where he averaged 12 points in 17 games. He also spent time with the Bakersfield Jam in 2009 after his senior year at Tennessee Chattanooga where he averaged 18 points and three rebounds.
