Austin picks up victory

The Bruins wrapped up play against the Minotauros in Minot North Dakota this Friday night. The Black and yellow dented the box score with a power play goal from Charlie Adams assisting was Matt Hansen and AJ Reid. Mike Bond than took out Brian McFarlane in a fight as the Bruins continued to pressure Minot. At the end of two periods of play Austin led 1-0 and outshot Minot 12-5. The second period John Simonson scored his 14th goal of the season, assisting was Chris Fischer and John Kirby. The Former Bruin Jadin Martin scored his 12th goal of the season making it a 2-1 score. Austin's youngster Colton Kramer took a pass from Connor Quinn and scored with a wrap around making it 3-1 Bruins. At the end of two periods of play Austin had outshot Minot 22-18. The 3rd frame Austin continued to pour on the pressure. Austin was able to pick up the victory 3-1. The Bruins have 10 wins in 10 meetings against Minot this season. Austin is back in action tomorrow night at the VFW in Bismarck North Dakota to tangle with the 1stplace Bismarck Bobcats.
