Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC and Columbus Crew agreed to a trade ahead of the Major League Soccer (MLS) Re-Entry Draft Stage 2 on Thursday. ATXFC received Columbus' third round pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft and 11th position in Thursday's Re-Entry Draft, with the Crew receiving fourth position in Thursday's Re-Entry Draft in exchange.
Conditionally, Austin FC could also receive $50,000 in General Allocation Money from Columbus for performance-based incentives in the future.
Transaction: Austin FC agrees to a trade with Columbus Crew. Austin FC receives Columbus' third round pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft and 11th position in the 2021 MLS Re-Entry Draft Stage 2. Conditionally, Austin FC could also receive $50,000 in General Allocation Money from Columbus for performance-based incentives.
