Atlético Ottawa extended their unbeaten run to five matches following a scrappy goalless draw with York United as both teams were reduced to 10-men. Urged on by yet another electric crowd at TD Place, Ottawa began the game in impressive fashion but faded as time went on before goalkeeper Nathan Ingham pulled off two match-saving stops to ensure the points were, yet again, shared between these two Ontario rivals.

"If you cannot win, you must not lose," these were the words shared by Head Coach Carlos González as he spoke to the media after the game.
Tuesday's draw means Atlético Ottawa have not lost since they hosted Pacific FC at TD Place on May 7, 2022 - this is the longest unbeaten run in the club's history.
Miguel Acosta in yet another excellent defensive display as he faced up against one of the league's most dangerous players in Diyaeddine Abzi. In fact, Acosta won more duels (7), had more tackles (4) and more interceptions (2) than any other Atelti player.
Goalkeeper Nathan Ingham was forced into action late in the game, denying Sebastián Gutiérrez (whose speculative, long-range effort looked destined for the top corner) and Osaze De Rosario with an instinctive point-blank save.
Atlético Ottawa are now tied on points with league leaders Pacific FC, with 18 points from 10 games with a game in hand.
In a game marred by perceived indispline, both teams felt aggrieved with the way the game was officiated, as was expressed in the post-match press conferences.
Atlético Ottawa captain, Drew Beckie, was sent off following two yellow card offences before Cédric Toussaint of York United saw a straight following his tackle on Carl Haworth.
