
Atlético Ottawa Duo Malcolm Shaw, Luke Singh Join Trinidad & Tobago Squad for Gold Cup

OTTAWA, ON - Atlético Ottawa is proud to announce that Luke Singh and Malcolm Shaw have been selected to represent the Trinidad & Tobago National Team at the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Singh, a talented young defender on loan from Toronto FC, and Shaw, Atlético's all-time appearance holder, have been stand-out performers for the club so far this season.
Luke Singh, 22, has previously represented Trinidad & Tobago at the U17 and U20 levels. Although eligible to play for Canada, Singh is yet to feature for either country, heightening the anticipation surrounding his debut on the international stage.
Malcolm Shaw, 27, joined Atlético Ottawa in 2020 and quickly established himself as one of the most well-known names in the Canadian Premier League. His impressive goal-scoring record and consistent performances have earned him this deserving call-up to the Gold Cup squad. This is Shaw's first international call-up.
Atlético Ottawa is immensely proud of Singh and Shaw's achievements and wishes them the best of luck in the upcoming Gold Cup. Their selection is a testament to the quality of talent nurtured at the club and reinforces its commitment to developing players who can compete at the highest level.

The CONCACAF Gold Cup is a highly anticipated tournament that brings together the best national teams from North and Central America and the Caribbean, including Canada. Trinidad & Tobago's campaign kicks off on June 25, 2023, with a match against Saint Kitts and Nevis. They will then face Jamaica on June 28, 2023, followed by a clash against the USA on July 2, 2023.
