
Atlanta United 2's Fuad Adeniyi Out 4-6 Weeks

ATLANTA (June 8, 2023) - Atlanta United 2 today announced Fuad Adeniyi is expected to miss an estimated 4-to-6 weeks after suffering a meniscus tear in his left knee during the team's 2-0 victory versus Toronto FC II on Sunday, May 28. Adeniyi had a successful surgery to repair his torn meniscus on Tuesday, June 6, and will be reevaluated later during the recovery process to determine his return to the field.
ATL UTD 2 (5-4-3-1, 19 points) returns to action Friday, June 9 when it travels to face Philadelphia Union II at Subaru Park (7:00 p.m. EST, Apple TV - MLS Season Pass).
