ATLANTA, Jan. 23, 2014 - The WNBA's Atlanta Dream announced today that it has secured a new partnership for 2014 with Peach State Basketball. The partnership will enable the Dream to support and collaborate with the local organization that provides opportunities for participation in youth basketball.

"We are proud to partner with an organization that represents the best in grass roots basketball and education," said Dream Chief Revenue Officer Alton Byrd. "At the Dream, we are excited about sharing information, education, and inspiration about Dream Basketball. We are looking forward to building a long-term relationship with Peach State Basketball."

"We are very excited about our partnership and the opportunities we will be able to provide for our student-athletes," said Natalie White, Director of Ticket Sales and Services for the Dream. "Peach State Basketball is a proven leader in the community and we are committed to being active supporters and providing unique experiences throughout the year, not just during summer hoops."

As part of its partnership, the Dream will have a presence at Peach State Basketball high-profile events including sales and merchandise tables, contests/giveaways and possible player and staff appearances. The Dream will be present at such events as the Peach State Tip-Off Classic, the Spring Showdown, the Super 64 and Fab 5, among others.

"We are excited to partner with the Atlanta Dream," said Peach State Basketball CEO Brandon Clay. "As a Georgia resident and a huge advocate for the growth of women's basketball, I want to continue to foster the dreams of young women throughout the state. The opportunity to do that with a WNBA organization the caliber of the Dream is special to me."

The Dream will have multiple games during the 2014 season at which groups from Peach State Basketball will have dedicated seating sections and will be able to participate in on-court Fan Experiences at the games. In addition, individuals will have access to locker room tours, player/coach meet and greets, on-court recognition during the game and more.

The three-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream completed its sixth season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) in 2013 with a trip to the WNBA Finals. The Dream has qualified for the playoffs in each of the past five seasons, including conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
