
Atlanta Dream Launches Dream Connect Program

ATLANTA, July 7, 2014 - The WNBA Atlanta Dream announced today the launch of the Dream Connect program - a program specifically tailored for youth basketball coaches, student-athletes and their parents.
"We are very excited to launch the Dream Connect program," said Atlanta Dream President and General Manager Angela Taylor. "Developing a program that will allow the Atlanta Dream to connect with youth basketball programs on a year-round basis and offer support to players, coaches, and parents is a top priority of our organization. We are committed to making a significant impact in the community and enhancing our relationship with the youth basketball programs through targeted outreach."
One of the primary elements of the Dream Connect program will be the Dream Around The Rim e-magazine that will be sent to subscribers on a regular basis for free. Among the information available in the e-magazine will be:

The three-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream is in its seventh season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Dream has qualified for the playoffs in each of the past five seasons, including conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
