A's Re-Sign Team Leading Scorer
October 3, 2014 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Orangeville A's News Release
The Brampton A's are excited to announce the return of another all-league first team performer; Cedric Moodie. He is coming off his best season in the NBL Canada, as he led the new franchise in many statistical categories. Moodie recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists per game.
The veteran is entering his 14th season as a professional basketball player and provides much needed confidence and experience to the A's program. ÃÂ GM/Head Coach David Magley says, "Cedric is the guy who always wants the ball when it matters and we can usually count on him delivering for us. ÃÂ He was a significant piece to last year's puzzle and will fit nicely in to this year's as well. ÃÂ One thing you can't teach is confidence, and Ced is loaded with that."
The A's will kick off their season October 21st, with a "Toonie Tuesday" pre-season game at home, where fans will get in for just $2.ÃÂ The regular season starts as the A's host its Peel rival, the Mississauga Power, Saturday November 1st, 7pm at the Powerade Centre.
