
Arthur Rogers Makes Second Consecutive Team of the Week

WINDSOR, Colo. - Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC defender Arthur Rogers has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for his performances against Central Valley Fuego FC and Charlotte Independence. This is his third Team of the Week in the last four weeks, after making it in weeks 13 and 15 as well.
Rogers worked hard to create four chances for his side against Central Valley. In the process he also completed 87 percent of his passes, won 100 percent of his aerial duels, and drew four fouls while conceding zero.
In the game against Charlotte Rogers swung in a corner kick that was headed home by fellow Londoner, Nortei Nortey. This brings his season total to five assists, tying him for second-most in USL League One. In addition to the assist, he added seven chances created and three clearances. Rogers leads the league in chances created with 43, 10 more than second-placed Allen Gavilanes of Greenville Triumph SC.
Rogers is the third Hailstorm player this season to make three or more Team of the Weeks. Irvin Parra (4) and Rob Cornwall (3) are the others to receive as many honors.

The team is back in action Saturday, July 23 when they travel to CHI Memorial Stadium to take on Chattanooga Red Wolves SC at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
