Anaheim, Calif., March 22, 2008 - It was the Mo Charlo show on Saturday night as the Arsenal guard scored 21 points on 8-for-15 shooting. Charlo's outstanding play led the Arsenal to a 113 - 107 victory over the D-League's top team, the Idaho Stampede.
Charlo's teammate, Mike Efevberha, came through in the clutch again for the Arsenal with 12 points in the fourth quarter, most of them on free throws. Efevberha finished the game with 23 points going 17-for-18 at the free throw line.
Forward Roberto Bergersen led the Stampede with 23 points, hitting five 3-pointers.
Arsenal head coach Reggie Geary said about the win, "It was a great team win with 6 guys scoring in double figures. Mike Efevberha has been a great addition to the club with his positive energy and getting to the rim. His play along with Mo Charlo, Will Blalock, and Marcus Campbell was huge for our team."
