Armor Announce Open Player Tryout Dates

Springfield, Mass.- The Springfield Armor today announced they will hold open player tryouts on September 22 in New Jersey and on October 21 in Springfield leading into the 2012-13 NBA Development League season.
The New Jersey tryout will take place at the Brooklyn Nets' training center, the PNY Center, 390 Murray Hill Parkway, East Rutherford, N.J. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.
The Springfield tryout will take place at the Springfield College Field House, 263 Alden Street, Springfield, Mass. Check-in begins at 12:00 p.m.
Open tryouts offer players an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Armor coaches and front office personnel while they compete to earn an invitation to the team's training camp in November. The Armor have had nine players appear in a regular season game after making the team through local player tryouts in three seasons.
Interested players should submit completed registration and release forms along with a $150 non-refundable participation fee to the Armor office. Late registration is $200 for all forms received after Wednesday, September 20 (for the New Jersey tryout) and Wednesday, October 17 (for the Springfield tryout).
