JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Armada FC 16-year-old forward Chaim Roserie (pronounced HIME ROSE-er-ee) got the opportunity of a lifetime on Monday.

Roserie, who is taking part in the Argentinian Men's National Team training sessions this week in Houston and Dallas, met who many think is the greatest soccer player in the world and perhaps of all time, Lionel Messi, and even had a chance to get a photo with the FC Barcelona star.

"I am beyond speechless at having the chance to meet a legend like Messi," Roserie said. "This is truly an opportunity of a lifetime to be able to train with some of the world's best players and learn how to better my skills from a world-class team."

Through general manager Dario Sala's contacts with Argentina, the Armada were granted an opportunity to have a player serve as part of the practice squad going head-to-head with the Argentines in short-sided games and 11-on-11 scrimmages.

"Our club is very appreciative of the Argentina National Team giving us this honor," Sala said. "Chaim is a very young player with a tremendous amount of potential, and having the opportunity to train with the world's best is priceless."

Roserie will also be on the same field as top players like Manchester City's Sergio Agüero, current Boca Juniors and former Juventus and Manchester City star Carlos Tevez and possibly have a chance for a strike on current Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero.

On Tuesday, Tevez, whose Boca Juniors went up against the Armada on June 27 in an international friendly at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, took time out to say hello to the Armada FC faithful.

Armada forward Pascal Millien and defender Shawn Nicklaw shipped off recently for more international duties with their respective nations for upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiying matches.

Millien, who was on the Haitian national squad that made it to the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup and has recorded 25 caps with Haiti, is currently with the team as it prepares for its two matches against Grenada in the third round of World Cup qualifying. The first leg will take place at 4:15 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 4, in St. George's, Grenada at Grenada National Stadium, and the second leg will kick off at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 8, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Stade Sylvio Cator. Should Haiti come out with the higher aggregate score against Grenada, it will move on with five other teams to round four qualifying.

Nicklaw and the Matao, Guam's Men's National Team, will face off against Iran this Thursday at 9:30 a.m. ET in Tehran, Iran, at Azadi Stadium and against Oman on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 2 a.m. ET in Harmon, Guam, at the Guam Football Association Training Center. The contests are part of the Asian Football Confederation's Group D World Cup qualifying, which stretches into March 2016. The top two nations from the group, which also includes Turkmenistan and India, will move on to the fourth round in October 2017. Nicklaw has recorded 20 caps with Guam.
