
Minnesota United Introduces Third Kit

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Tuesday, September 1st, 2015) -- Minnesota United unveiled the first alternate kit in club history on Tuesday. The limited edition kit was revealed at the Minnesota State Fair on a live broadcast from the Kare 11 Barn. The all-white kit features blue detailing including a sash across the front, representing the Mississippi River.
"It's a beautiful kit," said Minnesota United President Nick Rogers. "It's a really nice design that is meaningful to our club and our state. Both the players and staff that got a sneak peek loved it. I can't wait to see fans decked out in our new alternate jersey at theSeptember 12th match."
The new kit, made by Inaria, was teased in the week leading up to the reveal with several players involved in the process. Fans were able to get a closer look at the kit by visiting United's booth at the Fair in Fan Central.
"I love the new kit," said Minnesota United captain Aaron Pitchkolan. "We already have two great designs and to add a third is fantastic. I can't wait to wear it in front of the home fans next weekend."
