PINE BLUFF, Ark. - The Arkansas RiverCatz broke a modest two-game losing streak Thursday night with a 129-117 over the Monterrey Veneno.
The win moved Arkansas to 9-5 on the season, while Monterrey falls to 9-10.
Kareem Reid led the RiverCatsz with 42 points. Kenny Langhorne added 30 for the winners.
Dre Hardwick led Monterrey with 25 points.
The RiverCatz are off until next Thursday when they meet the ABA's No. 1 team, the Arkansas Aeros, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
