January 4, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that owners of two new ABA expansion teams scheduled to begin play in November will be featured on ABA All Access Radio heard each Saturday at 3pm EST on www.abalive.com.
Nicole Wainwright, the owner of the Long Beach Storm, and Steve Van Waes, the owner of the Kentucky Colonels, will talk with host Robby Kendall about why they decided to have an ABA team and some of their unique marketing plans. Both Ms. Wainwright and Mr. Van Waes have had interesting careers and have great ideas. It's a show you don't want to miss. For more information, visit www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
