Former Rochester Rhinos Defender Julian Ringhof

PHOENIX - Today, Arizona United SC announced the signing of defender Juilan Ringhof. The German-born player appeared in 21 matches (1,468 minutes) for the defending USL champion Rochester Rhinos last season.

"We saw that he was available a couple of weeks ago and jumped at the opportunity to sign him," said Arizona United head coach Frank Yallop. "I think he's a guy that's hungry to do well. As soon as I spoke to him, he was desperate to come to Arizona."

Ringhof, in his first professional season, was part of a defense that allowed two or more goals just twice in 28 matches during 2015. Prior to signing with Rochester, Ringhof was a two-time First Team All-WCC selection at the University of San Diego.
