FC Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - FC Montreal announced on Thursday that new games will be added to the second part of the training camp schedule.
The Montreal Impact second team will end its series of games against Quebec university teams with friendlies against Université de Sherbrooke on Sunday, February 28, in Sherbrooke, and Université de Montréal on Sunday, March 6, at Complexe sportif Marie-Victorin.
The USL team will continue its preparation with a game against Southern New Hampshire University on Wednesday, March 9, before facing the Rochester Rhinos on Tuesday, March 15, and the Ottawa Fury on Saturday, March 19. These three games will be played at the Olympic Stadium.
"As we draw near to the end of preparation, we have to be ready to start the season, so it's important to have an idea of where we stand compared to opponents of a similar caliber than those we will face," said head coach Philippe Eullaffroy. "It gives us the opportunity to assess the important aspects to work on, as well as our qualities and weaknesses. The team is where we want it to be at the moment. Our players work hard, and they are committed."
