Phoenix Rising FC News Release
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (September 25, 2015) - Arizona United SC announces today that it has decided not to extend the contract of head coach Michael Dellorusso, thus ending his tenure as head coach of the USL team.
Dellorusso became Arizona United SC's first-ever head coach in March 2014, and posted a 20-26-7 record during his tenure as head coach.
"We can't put into words what Michael did to help build Arizona United SC, both on, and off the field," said Kyle Eng, CEO of Arizona United. "Unfortunately we did not get the results on the field that we all wanted and felt a change was necessary at this time. All of us wish Michael tremendous success in the future."
"The search for a new coach with professional head coaching experience begins immediately," Eng added.
