Arizona Sundogs News Release
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The expansion Arizona Sundogs, slated to begin training camp Monday, October 9, welcomed their 2,000th season ticket holder to closeout the month of September.
"This is an achievement that we are extremely proud of," commented Sundogs President and Managing Director Hayne Ellis. "Reaching 2,000 season tickets is a testament to the fans in Northern Arizona and their support of our Club. It is apparent that the fans are just as anxious as we are to drop the puck."
Tarrin Walz of Cottonwood purchased the four season tickets to expose his kids to the game of hockey as well as to use them as incentives for employees of his physical therapy clinic, Northern Arizona Rehab & Fitness. His purchase pushes the total number of season tickets sold for the Sundogs Inaugural Season over 2,000.
"We're so excited about the Sundogs," said Walz. "You can't take a family to a professional sporting event in Phoenix without getting home after 1:00am, especially on a school night."
Walz's four boys, 18, 16, 11 and 9-years-old are equally excited about the games.
"With four boys, and having only purchased four tickets, the fights over who's coming to the games each night may rival the fights on the ice," added Walz.
"Having sold our 2,000th season helps our building have an atmosphere that opposing teams will have a tough time playing in. Coming to an Arizona Sundogs game is not only going to be affordable for families, but also something that they're going to want to do on a regular basis," added Ellis.
Season tickets to the Arizona Sundogs Inaugural Season at the Prescott Valley Convention and Events Center are still available. For information and pricing, please call (928) 772-5555 or visit www.arizonasundogs.com.
