October 4, 2006 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Arizona Sundogs News Release
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs Professional Hockey Club, slated to begin its Inaugural Season in 17 days against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, today announced its first-ever training camp is to be held the Jay Lively Activity Center in Flagstaff, Arizona October 9-11.
"Due to construction schedules and timelines, we are not able to have our training camp in the Prescott Valley Convention and Events Center," said Sundogs President & Managing Director Hayne Ellis. "We have been aware since early-September that this could be the case and Marco was in the position to make the necessary arrangements."
Fans are welcome to attend training camp on-ice sessions which are scheduled from 9:30-11:30am daily. The Jay Lively Ice Arena is located at 1650 N. Turquoise Dr. in Flagstaff.
"We decided to have our camp in Flagstaff rather than in Phoenix, making the team more accessible to our fan base in Northern Arizona," added Ellis.
