PHOENIX, AZ - Arizona State Credit Union will pay one lucky fan's mortgage up to $1,000 at the Arizona Sundogs hockey game this Saturday night. The Credit Union is partnering with the Sundogs and sponsoring a "Mortgage Match" contest in order to give back to the Prescott community it serves.

With a tight economy and some struggling to meet their monthly mortgage payments, the Credit Union hopes this prize will help relieve the burden of financial pressures for a few this holiday season.

"Arizona State Credit Union continues to show its commitment to our community," said Sundogs General Manager Chris Presson. "This is a prime example of a business that does things right, understands the local economic climate and is willing to do something to help. They are a true community leader and we are proud to be associated with them."

"The Credit Union's commitment to partnering with locally owned businesses supports the local economy while promoting community pride," said David E. Doss, President/CEO of Arizona State Credit Union. "The Arizona Sundogs is locally owned and supported by local businesses. It's a classic example of the power of a cooperative and we appreciate the opportunity to support such an organization."

The Sundogs host the Texas Brahmas on Saturday at Tim's Toyota Center. Game time is set for 7:05 PM. Throughout the season, people can register to be a contestant for the "Mortgage Match" at Arizona Sundogs games by completing an entry form at the Sundogs information table located in front of the team store.
