Arizona Rattlers and Sidewinders Unveil New Uniforms

Phoenix, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers unveiled the team's new home and away uniforms during media day today at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The team also announced its weekly Coach's Show launching Wednesday, March 30 in Maricopa as well as a pre-game celebration for the home opener April 16.
The uniform redesign comes as part of a league-wide partnership between the Arena Football League (AFL) and Under Armour. The sports apparel company has been named the Official & Exclusive Uniform and On-Field Apparel Supplier of the AFL. The home and away uniforms and helmets reflect the team's original color scheme of teal, copper and black. New home replica jerseys will be available for purchase in the team shop throughout the season.
The team also announced its weekly Coach's Show to be held in Maricopa every Wednesday beginning March 30. Fans will have the opportunity to hear players, coaches and team executives discuss the season and the organization's community initiatives. The weekly show will be hosted at the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle from 6:30-7:30 p.m. each week.
"We are excited to bring new life into our uniforms as well as introduce new initiatives for our fans for the 2016 season," said team president, Chris Presson. "We continue to grow and build strong corporate partnerships that allow us to grow the success of our overall business."
The Rattlers also announced a pre-game celebration on the plaza at Talking Stick Resort Arena for their home opener April 16 against the Tampa Bay Storm. The event will take place from 4-6 p.m. with music, games, face painting and more. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
